Iraq court sentences to death 3 Frenchmen for joining ISIS

The three men sentenced to death by an Iraqi court on Sunday were among 13 French citizens members of the Islamic State who were handed over to Iraq in January by the US-backed SDF. The Islamic State terrorists overran a large part of the country three years ago. It wasn’t immediately clear how France, which abolished the death penalty, will react to the sentencing of its citizens.

Ce sont des citoyens de zones de non droit. S’ils reviennent ils raconteront leurs exploits mortifères et profiteront d’un système déjà exsangue au détriment de ceux qu’il pourrait en avoir besoin

I always wondered how the French ended up with a language with such a fcked up spelling? The language sounds nice though.

I doubt the French will do anything, or say much. If they wanted their “citizens” back, they had plenty of opportunity. By joining daesh, they pretty much renounced their prior citizenship anyway.

The only good ISIS is a dead ISIS. Same for all islamic extremists . No reason to care about their nationality or treat them any differently because they are French.
