The Iraqi army takes over Kurdistan’s crossing to Turkey

The central government in Baghdad has taken control from Kurdistan of the main Iraqi crossing into Turkey. The KRG was forced out of disputed areas, including the oil rich city of Kirkuk, by the Iraqi army and Shiite Hashd al-Shaabi militia following its referendum on independence.
