Iraq’s PM-designate invites would-be ministers to apply online

Iraq’s Prime Minister-designate Adel Abdul Mahdi has launched a website inviting Iraqis with “suitable expertise and practical experience” to apply for ministerial posts in his new cabinet. They have until Thursday to submit their CVs. Mahdi, who has a PhD in economics and rare endorsement from both the US and Tehran, was asked to form a government last week after months of political impasse in Baghdad following the May election.
