Iraq’s PM refutes Israeli involvement in attacks on Shiite militias

Adel Abdul-Mahdi, Iraq’s prime minister, said Thursday that an exhaustive inquiry had found no “concrete evidence” of Israel’s involvement in recent air strikes on Shiite militia bases in his country. He told domestic news reporters that there are parties other than Israel with an interest in hitting those militias, such as the Mojahedin-e Khalq, which he said runs many underground cells in Iraq.
