Iron Dome at Ben Gurion for Obama arrival next week
According to the schedule for the US President Barack Obama’s 50-hour visit to Israel on March 20, released by the Prime Minister’s Office in Jerusalem Monday, the visitor will have the chance to inspect an Iron Dome battery deployed especially at Ben Gurion international airport. The US has put up funding for developing Israel’s missile interceptor. Added to his agenda are Bethlehem and a meeting with the leader of the opposition, Labor’s Shelly Yacimovich, as well as Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and President Shimon Peres.
The latter change indicates that Netanyahu is confident he will have his coalition government in place by March 20.
