Iron Dome intercepts 3-4 rockets fired at Eilat from Sinai
A few minutes before 11 pm local time, two red rocket alerts were sounded in Eilat, followed by four explosions. At least three were caused by Iron Dome batteries which intercepted all the estimated three or four incoming rockets fired from Egyptian Sinai. It would not be the first time that Islamist terrorists have launched rockets against Israel’s southernmost town. The town’s center was not struck; nor were there casualties. People vanished from the streets and the beaches in a trice, as security forces combed through the town's its environs to locate the rocket landings.The winter season is in full spate.
