Iron Dome intercepts rockets over Greater Tel Aviv
A rocket salvo headed for Greater Tel Aviv from Gaza early Wednesday and Beit Dagan. Two were intercepted by Iron Dome. Hamas also fired ten rockets at locations in western Negev, as well of Ashkelon and Ashdod the morning after a peak 120 rockets Tuesday that brought half of Israel under attack. Iron Dome intercepted 30. The farthest point north was Hadera, a town between Tel Aviv and Haifa, but Tel Aviv and Jerusalem as well as towns like Rehovot and Kfar Saba were added Tuesday to the Hamas roster of southern Israel targets between Ashdod and Beersheba. All parts of the country have now opened air raid shelters ready for more surprises, like the rocket that reached Hadera, 110 km away from the Gaza Strip, now identified as Syrian-made M-302 Khaibar.
