Iron Dome missile interceptor stationed opposite Gaza

The IDF announced Wednesday that an Iron Dome missile interceptor had been deployed  to Sderot opposite the Gaza Strip. Tensions have shot up in that sector following the killing of an Israeli fence repairman by a Palestinian sniper Tuesday and Israel’s limited reprisal. In Jerusalem, the security-political cabinet met in special session on the Gaza border situation.
