Isaac Herzog is new Jewish Agency Chairman

Israeli opposition Labor leader Isaac Herzog was unanimously elected by the Jewish Agency’s Board of Governors as Chairman on Sunday in Jerusalem, in place of Natan Sharansky, who retired.
“We need to do whatever we can to unify the Jewish people and make sure the Jewish people are not torn apart,” Herzog said. “A Jew is a Jew, and it doesn’t matter what kippa he wears or does not wear and what stream he belongs to. We are one people.” He recalled that as a high school student in New York, he attended protests campaigning for Sharanksy’s release from a Soviet prison. Herzog also reached out to Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, who opposed his appointment: “We will work together to foster and strengthen the Jewish people,” he said.

    A camel has better ethics than Herzog;
    Mule carried suitcaseful of Clinton cash , serving a foreign power interference in Israel’s democracy
    and so managed to defeat Netanyahu. This man serves mamon and will further harm the situation
    between Liberals and Jews

    ‘no jewishness for you libs’. LOL

    Rabbi Chafetz Chaim stated regarding the Jewish Communists (Yevsektsia) that “it is beyond any doubt that they are descended from Amalekites.”

    Then in section 4 he writes:

    ‘It is written in Exodus 17:16 that there is to be a war against Amalek in every generation, and the Torah testifies that this war exists in all generations until the arrival of the Messiah. However, in earlier generations, when the Jewish People were loyal to the Torah, the struggle against the forces of Amalek involved Amalek being outside of the Jewish People, ever since Jews abandoned Judaism Amalek penetrated into the Jewish People themselves, and we see large numbers of ]intentional heretics (mumarim lehach’is) such as the Jewish Communists. There is no difference between them and the Zionists except for the fact that the Communists write in Yiddish and the Zionists do so in modernized Hebrew. However, on both types G-d swore that neither his Name nor his Seat are complete until these people are removed from the world. So great is the intellectual poverty in our generation that a large portion of the Jewish People support them with their money, give them strength and help them. They do not understand the holy words such as is expressed in Psalms 92.

    Jewish unity must be based on the core Jewish principles of the sovereignty of God and the truth of His Covenant, rather than some vague concept of “peoplehood.” Weakening the central tenets of our faith in order to keep people “in the tent” is a strategy for national failure.
