ISIS affiliate claims responsibility for rocket attack on Israeli city
Islamic State's affiliate in the Sinai Peninsula, Ansar Beit Al Maqdis, said Wednesday afternoon that it fired the rocket from Gaza that hit the Israeli city of Sderot earlier in the day. The rocket exploded in a residential area in the heart of the city but did not cause damage or casualties. IDF tanks and artillery opened fire towards the city of Beit Hanoun in northern Gaza in response to the attack.
