ISIS-affiliated fighters seize important Libyan townof Sirte
Sources in Libya and Italy report that ISIS-affiliated fighters Sunday took the Libyan Mediterranean port of Sirte and are heading now for Tripoli, the capital. They say that 70 percent of Sirte including the town center and governing institutions are in Islamist hands. Upon seizing the radio and TV stations, they began broadcasting sermons of the ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.
