ISIS attack kills 10 members of main Bedouin tribe in N. Sinai
ISIS fighters on Wednesday attacked a checkpoint manned by members of the Tarabin Bedouin tribe in the Sinai Peninsula, killed ten of them and fled. The fighters from the local ISIS affiliate used a seized Egyptian military vehicle to approach the checkpoint and then escape. The incident occurred south of the town of Rafah in an area controlled by the terrorist organization. In late April, an ISIS car bomb killed four members of the tribe in Rafah, and the Tarabin retaliated by killing eight ISIS fighters in an attack on an ISIS position on the outskirts of the town.
