ISIS captures Libyan port city used by refugees heading to Europe
In a quick military operation, ISIS forces on Wednesday completed their capture of the center of the city of Sabratha in northwest Libya, located on the Mediterranean coast near the Tunisian border. ISIS fighters decapitated 12 Libyan soldiers while capturing the city. Sabratha, which has recently become a key point of departure for refugees heading to Europe, is considered a strategic asset for the terrorist organization.
