ISIS car bomb hits Baghdad police checkpoint; at least eight dead

At least eight people were killed and eleven others were wounded on Wednesday when a terrorist driving a vehicle packed with explosives blew himself up at a police checkpoint in Baghdad's al-Rashidiya neighborhood. ISIS claimed responsibility for the attack. The terrorist organization also took responsibility for the previous day's car bombing in the northern part of the Shiite neighborhood in which 12 people were killed and dozens were injured.
