ISIS claims Istanbul nightclub attack
The Islamist State terror group Monday claimed responsibility for the New Year's shooting rampage that left at least 39 club patrons and staff dead and 69 injured at a high-end Istanbul nightclub. "In continuation of the blessed operations which ISIS carries out against Turkey, a soldier of the brave caliphate attacked one of the most popular nightclubs while Christians were celebrating their holiday," said a statement posted on Twitter. The perpetrator continues to elude a massive police manhunt. An Israeli girl was killed and a second injured among the foreign victims from 14 countries
