ISIS-linked fighters repulse first Syrian-Hizballah onslaught on their Yarmuk enclave

DEBKAfile’s military sources report that a Syrian/Hizballah/Shiite force failed in its first effort to break through to the Yarmuk enclave held by the ISIS-affiliated Khalid Ibn Walid militia. The allied armored column from Nawa was blocked from advancing on the Islamists’ position atop Tal Jamou, which commands the southern Golan plateau. The Syrian commanders have called for Russian air support to capture the position.

There is a rumor that the saudis and the UAE have given these rebels secret shipments of Manpads and advanced portable hi tech anti aircraft weapons, plus tow missiles
This is probably what stopped the armour columns of hisballah and Shiite militia
Let’s see if it’s any good against Syrian aircraft.
The Russians will probably let the Syrian aircraft lead the sorties
    Before committing Russians
