ISIS plot reported to attack Jewish schools in Turkey
Sky News reported Monday that ISIS members arrested last week in the southern Turkish city of Gaziantep revealed an imminent plot to murder Jewish children in attacks on kindergartens, schools and youth centers. Turkish intelligence officials treated the information as an “active plot” adding that it also targeted a synagogue and community center in Istanbul. Turkish police are patrolling the area. Ten days ago three Israelis died in a suicide bombing in that city.
On Monday, Israel upgraded its travel advisory for Turkey, urging citizens to leave the country at once and those who had scheduled trips to cancel them.
