ISIS threatens Ramadan terror escalation in Sinai and Gaza
The Sinai Province of the Islamic State (ISIS) threatens spectacular terrorist attacks during the Muslim month of Ramadan – which starts Thursday night (June 18) – against Egypt, Hamas and Israel. Especially targeted are Egyptian government, army and police institutions and tourist sites. In the Gaza Strip, the Islamist State will step up its attacks on Hamas and Israel. The first anniversary of Mosul’s fall into ISIS hands coincides with the onset of Ramadan, prompting ISIS plans to intensify their strikes against US and coalition targets in Iraq and Syria in the coming weeks.
