ISIS vows Cairo ‘will burn’ after Egypt sends member to the gallows
Adel Habara, a member of ISIS condemned to death over his involvement in a 2013 attack in the Sinai Peninsula that killed 25 Egyptian policemen, was hanged on Thursday at a prison in Cairo. Habara was the eighth member of ISIS put to death since the fall of the country's former president, Mohammed Morsi, and the rise of Abdel Fattah al-Sisi to power. Following the hanging, statements posted on several social networks linked to the terrorist organization threatened that Cairo "will burn" for executing Habara.
