Islamic Jihad responsible for rocket volley Saturday night
DEBKAfile’s military and intelligence sources have learned that the Palestinian Islamic Jihad was responsible for firing four rockets into Israel on Saturday night: Three were intercepted by Iron Dome and the fourth landed on empty ground. The Iranian-backed terrorist group was making a point that, while a party to the long-term truce deal in negotiation between Hamas and Israel, Jihad reserved its independence to act whenever it sees fit. Nonetheless, Israeli retaliation targeted Hamas military facilities, not those of Jihad.

That being the case, just what is the point in concluding a long term “truce” ?????
It is a logic continuation of the Oslo 1 truce and the even more powerful Oslo 2 truce.
