Islamic State beheads Kurdish prisoner. Video threatens US
The video with the hashtag “2nd Message to America” shows the execution by decapitation of a Kurdish soldier in a group of 15 captured Peshmerga dressed in orange boiler suits before a Mosul mosque. IS threatened to behead them too if Iraqi Kurdistan continued to cooperate with the United States. It came hours after unspeakable footage of the mass execution of 300 Syrian soldiers lined up in the Syrian desert and said to have been taken at Tabqa air base.
The first “Message to America’ accompanied the video showing the decapitation of American journalist James Foley.
