Islamic State takes responsibility for California shooting
The Islamic State early Saturday claimed responsibility for the San Bernardino social center shooting which left 14 dead and 21 injured last Wednesday. The statement, aired by a radio station identified with ISIS,said that it was committed by the group’s “followers in California.” Friday night, the FBI announced it was investigating the attack as an “act of terror” – albeit without linking the two shooters, Syed Rizwan Farook and Tashfeen Malik – to the Islamic State or any other terrorist group.
