Islamist suspected of bombing Bundesliga team’s bus arrested
Germany's federal prosecutor announced Wednesday afternoon that two main suspects are believed to have carried out the previous day's bomb attack on the bus transporting the Borussia Dortmund football team. Both suspects were identified as radical Islamists linked to terror. The police arrested one of them and launched a manhunt for the second suspect, who remains at large and is believed to have gone into hiding. Special police forces raided the apartments of both men. Three explosive devices detonated near the bus as it traveled to the German Bundesliga team's home stadium for a Champions League quarterfinal match. One player was injured, and the match was postponed.
