Israel Air Force bombs chemical & other Syrian targets

American sources reported Israeli air strikes against a number of targets in Syria including a chemical weapons depot outside Damascus. They were carried out remotely from Lebanese air space and the Golan starting Friday and continuing up until early Saturday. Neither Damascus nor Jerusalem confirms the attack. One report says Israeli jets first circled over Assad’s palace in Damascus before striking the chemical site. Another that the target was a convoy carrying chemical weapons to Hizballah.
