Israel cancels Knesset delegation visit to Irish parliament

A large Knesset delegation’s visit to the Irish parliament was cancelled on Monday after the Irish deputies gave preliminary approval to a boycott law that would criminalize commercial ties with Israel firms operating across the 1967 Green Line in Judea and Samaria. Offenders could face up to five years in prison as well as fines. Last week, Israeli foreign ministry officials summoned Ireland’s ambassador Alison Kelly for an official reprimand over her country’s support for this bill.

    The Lord had said to Abram, “Go from your country, your people and your father’s household to the land I will show you.

    “I will make you into a great nation,
    and I will bless you;
    I will make your name great,
    and you will be a blessing.
    I will bless those who bless you,
    and whoever curses you I will curse;
    and all peoples on earth
    will be blessed through you.”

      the promises of HaShem are conditional.

      Beresh!t 12:1-3 is of course CONDITIONAL on Abrams departure without any clear destination in Beresh!t 12:4. It is conditional on Abrams true belief and his act of faith according to that belief.

      Shemot (Exodus) 19:1-6 …”This is what you are to say to the house of Jacob and what you are to tell the people of Israel: … Now IF you obey me fully and keep my covenant, THEN out of all nations you will be my treasured possession. Although the whole earth is mine, You will be for me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.’ These are the words you are to speak to the Israelites.”

      G-ds promises to Abraham don’t mention any ‘jew’ing. Therefore, Yesh’a’s words here…

      ‘Do not presume to say to yourselves, We have the yichus (proud lineage), we have the zechut Avot (merit of the Fathers) of Avraham Avinu (our father Abraham). For I say to you that Hashem is able to raise up from these avanim (stones) banim (sons) of Avraham [T.N. See Ro 3:28-4:2]. 10 And already the ax is laid at the shoresh haetzim (the root of the trees); therefore, every etz not producing pri tov (good fruit) is cut down and thrown into the eish (fire). ‘

    All Jewish communities in the Arab world were persecuted and driven out from the Capitals of most Arab countries. Does the Irish Parliament want to carry out a balanced move and Boycott Businesses with those Arab Capitals too?…………
