Israel captures largest Palestinian cell linked to ISIS

The two terrorists responsible for the terror attack on the Sarona market in Tel Aviv on June 8 belonged to the largest Palestinian cell linked to ISIS to be uncovered so far by Israeli security services. Four people were killed and 41 injured in that attack. Eight additional members of the cell are in custody. A third member was assigned to carry out a mass-murder shooting attack on a crowded train. DEBKAfile was the first publication to connect the Sarona attack to the Islamic State, under whose influence a major Palestinian terrorist cell now turns out to have operated from Yata in the Hebron district. The 8 detainees, members of the same family as the three operatives, will be charged with aiding in the illegal procurement of weapons, driving terrorists to their targeted destinations, and illegally crossing the security barrier
