Israel congratulates Saudi Arabia on its National Day

The Israeli Foreign Ministry’s message of congratulations to Saudi Arabia on its national day read: “We ask God, the exalted, that your efforts to develop, prosper and advance will be successful.” Israel does not normally congratulate countries with which it does not have diplomatic relations but made an exception in the case of Riyadh. The kingdom annually celebrates King Abdul Aziz ibn Saud’s naming of the realm after his family in 1932.
