Israel denies spying on nuclear talks

"These allegations are utterly false," a senior official in the Israeli Prime Minister's office said in reference to The Wall Street Journal’s claims Monday "The state of Israel does not directly conduct espionage against the United States or its other allies," said the official with unusual vehemence in response to the paper’s claim that Israeli intelligence "eavesdropped on closed-door nuclear negotiations between Iran and the US and passed the information to the US Congress."
