Israel eases blockade on Gaza, allows building materials through

For the first time since Hamas seized control of the Gaza Strip in 2007, Reuters reports that Israel has allowed a shipment of gravel for private construction into the Gaza Strip. This was first reported by DEBKAfile on Dec. 27.
