Israel embassies in high alert

Israel was reported to have placed its embassies in world capitals on high alert on Saturday after Iran blamed Israel, and threatened retaliation, for the killing of its top nuclear scientist. A spokesman for the Foreign Ministry in Jerusalem said it was not customary to comment on matters of security regarding its representatives abroad.
