Israel halts Gaza fuel supplies over surging Gaza violence

The defense minister’s office announced Friday evening that in response to the outbreak of extreme Palestinian violence on the Gaza-Israel border fence earlier that day and terrorists’ attempts to smash their way through, the flow of fuel into the enclave is halted until further notice. The first convoy of fuel trucks financed by Qatar entered the Gaza Strip on Tuesday.
