Israel hi-tech enlisted for aiding war on coronavirus

Thousands of automatic ventilation machines will start rolling off defense manufacturer Elbit’s production lines after the Passover festival, based on LifeCan Medical technology. The government has asked Elbit to help out with the shortage of respirators for saving the lives of coronavirus patients with severe respiratory symptoms. Israel has 3,500 machines at present and the Health Ministry hopes to build up stocks to around 7,000 by next month.

Doctors treating covid-19 victims received a free AI diagnostic tool last week from Kahun Ltd. This startup has harnessed artificial intelligence tech to scanning vast amounts of data and presenting it in easy to use graphs with an algorithm that emulates a physician’s process of diagnosis.
