Israel launches military war game on its northern borders

The IDF Sunday launched a week-long military exercise along Israel’s northern borders with Syria and Lebanon, with armored units and air force cover. DEBKAfile adds: Across Israel’s eastern border, the US-Jordanian Eager Lion military drill has been in progress since last week. Also taking part in that exercise are Saudi and United Arab Emirates forces. The two military maneuvers along the Israeli- and Jordanian-Syrian borders are bringing Damascus and the Iranian-backed Hizballah under pressure.
