Israel now transfers tax amounts in full to Palestinians

Palestinian officials confirm that Israel has for three months stopped deducting from its monthly tax transfers to the PA the amounts paid out to convicted terrorists and their kin. MK Avi Dichter, who initiated the law ordering those deductions protested the action. He said it was not legitimate without a change of law and conveyed a negative message. The Palestinian Authority is planning to establish a private PLO bank through which to continue payouts to the terrorists without exposing the regular banks of Ramallah to international sanctions for funding terrorists.
