Israel Police crack down on stone-throwing in Bedouin areas of Negev
Five suspects, including three teenagers, have been arrested by the Israel Police on suspicion of throwing stones at passing vehicles on Route 25 between Nevatim and Aruar in the Negev. The arrests came during an operation by elite police units with assistance from the air. In a statement, the police spokesman's office said operations will continue with zero tolerance regarding stone-throwing. The five suspects were brought to a hearing at a district court in Beersheba on Thursday regarding the extension of their arrests.
