Israel recognizes Juan Guaidó as leader of Venezuela

Israel recognizes Venezuelan opposition deputy Juan Guaidó as “president in charge” of Venezuela, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu announced on Twitter Sunday. He said that Israel joins the US, Canada and most Latin American and European countries in recognizing the “new leadership.” Venezuelan army chiefs have confirmed their loyalty to Nicolás Maduro, who has denounced a “coup d’état in development” and received the support of Russia, China, Turkey, Bolivia, Mexico.

Turkey is supporting Muduro? Soemone please explain to me why Turkey is still allowed in NATO. I know that at one time Turkey was seen as a reasonable secular Muslim country that was a seen as an example for other extremist Muslim countries. The idea being that these Muslim countries would emulate Turkey’s moderate political system and start the process of politcal Westernization. Well, Turkey is now an extremist Muslim Country run by a brutal dictator who has sided with both Iran, Russia and China – which puts it in opposition to the USA and the EU.
