Israel sees 104 coronavirus deaths in 48 hours

Deaths from coronavirus climbed in Israel by 104 in the past two days to a total of 3,910. On Saturday, 1,135 hospital patients were in serious condition. According to figures released on Saturday, there were 9,198 new cases on Friday and 7.6 pc tested positive. The Health Ministry has expanded the vaccination program to groups aged 45 plus as of next week. The ministry is also bidding to extend the current two-week lockdown which expires next Friday for another week. The coronavirus cabinet will be called into session in md-week for a decision.
