Israel set to approve 4,500 new housing units in Judea and Samaria

Approvals of various projects would be rolled out in stages and include settlements in northern Samaria, which is currently plagued with a spate of deadly Palestinian terror attacks.  White House National Security Council spokesperson said the US “has been clear that advancing settlements is an obstacle to peace and the achievement of a two-state solution.” Last Thursday, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu promised to put on ice the highly controversial E1 settlement project in a conversation with Secretary of State Antony Blinken.
