Israel will respond powerfully to provocations from Syria

Commenting on the drone from Syria that was shot down over the Golan Saturday, Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman said Israel takes an extremely grave view of violations of its sovereignty and will counter “all provocations with a powerful response.”  He added: “We hold the Syrian regime responsible for any shootings and breaches of our sovereignty and expect it to restrain all the entities operating on its soil.”
