Israel would fight to keep Syrian chemical weapons from terrorists
Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu said Tuesday Israel would do what it takes to keep Assad’s chemical weapons from reaching terrorist hands and even weigh military action in Syria to prevent this. He spoke at a reception in Jerusalem for European Union envoys. It was time Netanyahu had referred to possible Israel military involvement in the Syrian conflict. He added: "Changes in the Middle East have taught us that any military capability may be turned against us and we can’t take chances.”
