Israeli Air Force holds several meetings with his Russian colleague

Maj. Gen. Amikam Nurkin, Israeli Air Force chief, Thursday met several times in Moscow with Russian Air Force commander Col. Gen. Sergei Surovikin. Nurkin and his party of senior Israeli officers shared with their Russian counterparts the evidence collected by the Israeli investigation of the Syrian downing of the Russian IL-20 on Monday.  Gen. Nurkin also showed the Russians details of Iran’s efforts to deepen its military foothold in Syria and its delivery of strategic weaponry to Hizballah. Both the Israeli and Russian generals highlighted their respective national interests and emphasized the importance of preserving their lines of communications in Syria
