Israeli air strike reported on military targets east of Damascus

Several Syrian opposition sources report that the Israeli air force Monday night struck government military targets, including an arms depot at Qutaiba, east of Damascus. There was no comment from Israel. According to the reports, Israeli jets fired at least four missiles from Lebanese air space. DEBKAfile adds: This base is near the Qalamoun mountains, an area where Hizballah also maintains military outposts and arms depots.
