Israeli Arab lawmakers delay Temple Mount visit until Sunday
Arab members of the Israeli parliament announced on Thursday that they will delay their planned visit to the Temple Mount to pray at the Al-Aqsa mosque until Sunday so that several other Arab members of the Knesset, who are currently abroad, can join as well. The parliamentarians announced earlier in the day that they would make the visit on Friday to protest the decision by Prime Minister Netanyahu to bar all members of the Knesset from visiting the Temple Mount until further notice. The prime minister took the step in an effort to reduce tensions from the current wave of terror.
