Israeli Arab woman indicted on suspicion of spying for Gazan terrorists
A 40-year-old Israeli Arab woman was arrested in October on suspicion of spying for a terrorist organization in Gaza, according to her indictment released Thursday. She was stopped by police at the Erez border crossing after they received intelligence information from the Shin Bet internal security service that she had been photographing strategic facilities in Haifa and receiving bombmaking training from the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, the indictment said. The woman, who is married to a Palestinian resident of Gaza and has seven children, had been living alternately in Haifa and Gaza.
