Israeli drone crashes near Quneitra

After Hizballah claimed that the Syrian army had shot down an Israeli drone over the Golan, the Israeli army spokesman Tuesday confirmed that a miniature Skyrider UAV, in the use mainly of the IDF artillery units for the purpose of surveillance, had crashed on the Golan due to a technical fault.  It was emphasized that no security data had been exposed. The incident apparently coincided with the Israeli drone attack that killed a Syrian militiaman near Quneitra two days ago.
