Israeli military UAV crashes near Bethlehem
A Skylark surveillance drone used by the IDF's artillery corps crashed Thursday near Bethlehem, south of Jerusalem. It was recovered by Israeli troops and returned to its operators, the IDF Spokesman's office said, adding that there is no concern that any sensitive data was exposed. The reason for the crash was not immediately known. The unmanned aerial vehicle is carried, assembled and launched by troops in the field.
In May, the same type of drone crashed inside Lebanon near the Israeli border.
