Israeli mother and father killed in terrorist shooting

Two Israelis, a mother and father, were killed Thursday evening when their car was sprayed with bullets as it passed through an area of the West Bank between Itamar and Alon Moreh. Their four children, who were also in the vehicle, were not wounded. They were evacuated from the vehicle under Palestinian fire. The attack was a drive-by shooting. Army units are scouring Palestinian villages nearby in an effort to locate the terrorists and their vehicle, and have blocked the main road to traffic. There are reports of exchanges of fire in the area.
