Israeli security foils Hamas kidnap plot in Samaria

The Shin Bet domestic security service, the IDF and police, in a joint operation, foiled a plot by a Nablus-based Hamas gang to abduct an Israeli soldier or civilian on Hanukkah from one of the Israeli communities of Samaria. The Feast of Lights started Tuesday. The snatch was to have taken place at one of the bus stops near Nablus. All the gang members are in custody.
