Israeli troops break up Palestinian disturbances, injure 10

Israeli forces faced violent Palestinian resistance as the eighth day of their sweep for three abducted Israeli teenagers ended Friday night – still with no breakthrough. There were ten more detentions of Hamas activists and former prisoners released in exchange for Shalit four years ago. A rocket fired from the Gaza Strip exploded on a road in the Hof Ashkelon district overnight, the 20th since the Brother’s Keeper operation began.
