Israel’s army chief on Golan: Start shooting back for Syrian fire

On an inspection tour of IDF Golan positions Tuesday, IDF chief of staff Lt. Benny Gantz and OC Northern Command Yair Golan determined that the third round of shots from Syria in four days Monday night was a calculated attack aimed at an Israeli patrol. A military jeep was damaged. No one was hurt. This time, Israeli forces directed a Tamuz rocket at the source of gunfire and reported a direct hit. Gen.
